Echine du porc; rabbit

This will be short, and so will the next few: I'm on the trail again in the French Alps, blogging on my iPhone with a follding keyboard. 

Lunch today in Thonon at a little caferesto on the bus station placc: the daily menu, nine euros, and a beer —pleasant pork braised in vaguely asian sauce, good diced potattoes, mixed vegetable stirfry.

Bigger more conventional dinner: mostly pork terrine with cornichons, remoulade and musttard; then braised rabbit with potatoes and mixed veegettables; cheese of ccourse!
