Eastside Road, April 13, 2011—NOTHING, OR ALMOST NOTHING, smells better than chopped onions sweating in olive oil, in a black iron frying pan, over a slow fire. That's what we smelled this afternoon. Lindsey was planning on lentils for dinner. The recipe came from Sunset; you can find it here. Lindsey followed it pretty closely, only adding more onions, because we had them, and they are good.
Green salad, of course.
