THE LAST OF THAT delicious stew I wrote about yesterday, the one from Marcella Hazan's book. As is so often the case with such preparations, it was even better tonight, the flavors a little deeper and even more integrated. With it, green beans; after, salad. Oh: and before it, as a first course, a guacamole I'd made after my fashion.And crêpes; probably the last of those, too. Lindsey served them with a syrup flavored with Mandarine, a favorite liqueur of ours for many years.
