THE WEATHER'S SO ODD, unseasonably warm and unnaturally humid, but we toughed it out on our patio, both today and yesterday, with a fine meal made for us by Sylvie and Jason, both of whom polished their culinary chops at the Chez Panisse program at the American Academy in Rome. There were eighteen of us yesterday, and all with appetites. Today, though, even though there were eight of us at table, there was enough left from yesterday to have the entire feast over again. Don't think we don't know how lucky we are!
