MUCH AS WE LIKE traveling, Lindsey and I, we like friends and family most of all. So we stop off in this country agriturismo to touch base with Gabriella and Franco once again, and with Dominique and Chuck who drive up from Nice for the night, and as always Gabriella insists on preparing dinner, which we eat out on the terrazza: little toasts with anchovies and olive oil, baked lasagne pasta squares with a simple and perfect tomato sauce, tender squid breaded and steam-baked in the oven, cherries from Franco's orchard, green salad; wine and limoncello of their own production.
