Fusilli, anchovies, breadcrumbs

Eastside Road, January 30, 2016—
SUCH A SIMPLE, delicious, and substantial dish. A few salt-packed anchovies; a few cloves of garlic; olive oil of course.  Some red-pepper flakes. Parsley to garnish, and those toasted breadcrumbs to give crunch interest.

We had a green salad afterward, and then a small ice cream sundae: vanilla, with salt caramel, and some chopped toasted nuts, to recall the crumbs …
